- Summary
- All of this is so strange. All these weird things are happening.
- Yeah, I think it's a sign from the gods that Caesar shouldn't be king.
- Foreshadow
- We need to have the support of Marcus Brutus
- Yeah, we'll definitely need him in our side.
- Prediction
- Yeah, you're right. He will not bring anything good to the people. I'll help you out.
- You know, Caesar being king will not bring anything good.
- Cassius and Casca are discussing that the omens are a warning from the gods that Caesar being king will create a monstrous state in Rome. They discuss the weird omens that have happened such as a slave holding a torch together but not feeling the heat, and a lion roaming alongside the capital.
- Casca and Cassius are discussing that they need to convince Marcus Brutus to join them and go with their group to plot against Caesar. Casca mentions that everyone thinks highly of him and with his support, something offensive will turn into virtue and worthiness.
- I predict that Cassius will successfully convince Marcus Brutus to join them in going against Caesar to prevent him from being king. I also believe that Marcus Brutus will be the one to kill Cesar because of his ambition and because Brutus will think Caesar would become a tyrant ruler.
