Aristotle studied plants and animals, then would classify them based on their similarities and differences. He based his conclusions on common sense, which led to many false ideas. Copernicus's theory disagreed with church teachings. Copernicus came up with the idea that the sun was the center of the universe.
Galileo Galile tested theories that were made by other scientists like Aristotle had thought that heavy objects fall to the ground faster than objects that weigh less. Galileo's experiments prove his theory wrong.
