- They went out, but just as Dylan said, there was a hobgoblin and it stared at both of them with it's gator eyes. They screamed and Dylan came out with his gun but they knew each other. Dylan told him to go away and he did, then Dylan spent the night with them
- After both of his friends left, Riley found a cabin and went in but was horrified when he found the hobgoblin. It turns out that he was just misunderstood and was actually nice. He told Riley where he could find the most whispers so he left to find them.
- He found them and spilled his heart out to them, but he found out they were fake and squished them all. He cried and fell asleep from being awake for so long but then woke up behind a church. He found his moms gravestone and suddenly remembered how she had died from cancer and not being taken away, then he looked for Tucker his dog, and he was also dead next to him. Dylan came and comforted him and took him home to his family where they had a funeral for his dog and talked about how they didn't tell the truth about his mom because he forgot because he wished she was still alive. His friends left his house and he lay in bed that night, sad but happy he finally knew.
