  • The Stamp Act, 1765
  • Since everyone hates the stamp act, we shall get rid of it since it obviously has been horrible so far
  • This is ridiculous! A stamp on every piece of paper I use, and I’m supposed to pay for it? They’re taxing us without asking for our consent! It’s like they don’t even care about our rights. We didn’t vote for these laws, we didn’t agree to them.
  • After the Stamp Act was established, many citizens complained on how unfair it was and how they thought they had no rights. so after a year after the stamp act was created, it was repealed.

  • This is it, today, we make our stand! The British think they can control us with these taxes, but we won't be their pawns any longer.
