Storyboard Text

  • I've been so stressed out lately! I can't believe we have finals in 2 weeks and I got track meets every other day. Ugh, I wish I could just sleep through it all :(
  • I know right! Things are so stressful right now, that's why I've been taking this vape to calm myself down. It's so relaxing, you should come and try it too!
  • Idon't know what to do. I learned in health class that vapes are dangerous, but on the other hand, she's my friend and she thinks they're good for stress. I could take the offer, not take it, or just ignore her and run away...
  • Umm...
  • But no, I can't do that. Avoiding the problem won't help solve it, and besides she'll probably see tomorrow in school anyway. Hmm... my class told us that vapes have nicotine in them, which is highly addictive. The vapor can also deliver dangerous chemicals into my lungs and in the long run, I can get all sorts of diseases in my lungs and brain.
  • I should just make the easy choice and run away here...
  • But...she's my friend. She wouldn't give me something dangerous. Does she know the dangers? I'm pretty sure she was asleep during health class most days
  • The external influence here would be my friend, but the internal influence is my mind and thought process, telling me it's not safe. As for my own values, I promised myself I'd try my hardest at school and wouldn't get into trouble...
  • If I evaluate my own values, vaping goes against what I want for myself and it's very dangerous for my health and future.
  • I'm pretty sure the only benefit to accepting the vape would be pleasing my friend. I don't really want myself to be a people pleaser though. I think I know what I should do...
  • Actually...vaping is really dangerous for your health, and it doesn't really adhere to my values. So thanks, but no thanks.
  • Ugh, fine whatever. You don't have to be so lame. Let's go.
