  • Ms.Strangworth engages with the cranes on her way back from the grocery store. Mrs.Crane is worried that her baby is a slow developer. Ms.Strangeworth dislikes how infatuated the Cranes are with their baby girl.
  • "That's the way we want her to feel," she said. "Like a princess."
  • A spoiled brat is what she'll turn out to be...
  • "That little girl is going to grow up expecting luxury all her life."
  • Ms.Strangeworth has arrived back home from grocery shopping and wants to indulge in her secret habit of sending nasty letters to her neighbours but not before tending to her beautiful roses.
