This here is the Middle Colonies. They mostly consist of deep harbors.
Their main economic resources' was crop farming, logging, and largely acriculture.
Their Political was democratic, and elected their own legislatures.
The middle colonies social structure was small towns, cities, and farms.
The New England colonies were flat, coastlines which made for good ship harbors. The land was covvered in dense forrest and rocky soil.
New England's economy was mostly dependent on the ocean. (Fishing, Whaling, trapping, shipbuilding, and logging.)
In New Englad, there were the Gentry, middle class, and the poor. In new England there was mainly Villages, churches, and schools.
The colonies were governed by elected magistrates. English settlements were origionally self-governed, and the colonists determined the structure of political institutions.
The southern economy was almost entirely based on farming. (Rice, Indigo, Tobacco, Sugarcane, cotton, and cash crops.)
The southern colonies were largely governed by a govener sent from England. The govener was advised by a colonial legislature that was largely composed by the planter class.
The Southern Colonies consisted of mostly coastal plains, and piedmont areas.
The south became increasinly stratified into three classes; Planters, servants, and slaves.
