Storyboard Text
- The turning point in this poem. Is when he says " But let your love even with my life decay". Because he does know it's hard for his loved ones to go through this. So he went from being very straightforward to being more empathetic. And he wanted to tell them that he wants them to go for him. And he doesn't want them to remember him. He would rather them move on and live life to the fullest. Instead of sulking over him and being upset. So before he was being more straightforward. But then came off more empathetic towards them.
- No longer mourn for me when I am dead
- Before the turn-It builds the theme because it starts what he signifies. He wants them to not mourn for him. And he doesn't want them to be upset. This first line is important because it is what builds the poem. And shows what he wants to indicate going along. This line is saying that he wouldn't want them to be sad. And instead he would want them to enjoy life without him.
- The theme of this poem. Signifies love and death. Since he is going to pass, but he does want them to forget. But he also wanted them to mourn him when it did happen. And that he wanted the people he loved to cope. And to understand that he didn't want them to feel down for what happened. And instead he wrote about grief and what he wanted from them.
- And mock you with me after I am gone.
- After the turn - It builds the theme because, it shows what he wanted and thought about. And that he wanted it to be gone after he was not there. This line is the most important. Since he wants his family to just let go. And not bring up what had happened. So it wouldn't be a huge deal to everyone else. This line also means that he does not want it to be brought up. So people cannot talk about what had happened.
