  • The Myth of Osirius
  • Seth
  • I'm so jealous of my brother. He has so much power!
  • Osirius
  • Isis
  • Ok, let me out now Seth!
  • I'm sorry brother. You're not getting out!
  • Everything will be mine!
  • Osirius, after marrying his sister, Isis, began his wise reign in Egypt. Under his wise rule, the country flourished. However, all was not well. Osirius's brother, Seth, harbored a murderous hatred for his brother, envying his power.
  • I finally found you, I'm taking you home
  • Corroded by envy, Seth decided to plot a trap against his brother, convincing him to enter in a sarcophagus that he then closed.
  • You are not going to spoil my plans, even if I have to kill you a thousand times
  • Once he captured Osirius, Seth carried the sarcophagus to the Nile River and threw it. This one was dragged by the current and went out to sea. Set announced that he was now king of Egypt.
  • Hello son!
  • Consumed with grief, Isis traveled along the Nile in search of the sarcophagus that contained her husband. She finds him in Phoenicia and brings him back home.
  • But Seth took possession of Osirius's corpse again, dismembering it into fourteen pieces, which he distributed throughout the country.
  • Isis retrieved the pieces. Aided by other gods, she recomposed the body of Osirius and brought him back to life, but not of mortals, but as king of the dead, resurrection and fertility. They conceived their son Horus and trained him to avenge his parents and take back the throne of Egypt.
