- The sinking of the Lusitania was when a German submarine shot a missile at the ship and that led the U.S into war.

- The central powers included Austria Hungary Germany Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire. The allies were Serbia France and the United Kingdom , Italy Belgium and the United States. Russia was also important in WW1 but they switched sides during war.
- Militarism
- Some of the new technologies used tanks flamethrowers and poison gas. The trench warfare were bad, many people got diseases
- Germany signs a peace treaty with Russia saying that they will stop fighting, this is not the end of the war. The reason they surrender is because they were losing and the central powers were defeated
- Militariasm was done World war 1 because countries had to give the miltary the resources needed .
