Today I will tell you about capitalization rules.

Example sentence: Today, Dr Dan and I, went on a picnic.
And we always capitalize job titles as in "Chef Joe"!!!

You should always capitalize proper nouns. You should also capitalize the first word of a sentence. Always capitalize the pronoun "I".
Example sentence: She says she comes from the northwest
You capitalize directions when you are talking about something regional. an example sentence is: I come from the Southeast. You do not capitalize it if you are using it as an adjective. As in: the Himalayas are north of India.
Example title: "The One and Only Ivan"
Important words include nouns, adverbs, verbs, adjectives, and pronouns. You do not capitalize prepositions and conjunctions that have less than 5 letters.
Also, in titles, you must capitalize the first word, the last word, and all the important words in between.
Example sentence: She says she comes from the northwest
You capitalize the relationship of a family member. An example sentence is: I can't wait for Mom to take us to the movies. You do not capitalize it if you say something like "my mom." An example sentence is: I can't wait for my mom to take us to the movies.
Example sentence for nationalities: I am an American citizen.
You also capitalize the religion of somebody. You would say: "My best friend is a Christian. You also capitalize languages. An example is: She couldn't wait to learn how to speak French. And you must always capitalize nationalities.
