Storyboard Text

  • Goodbye, Harold! Have a good day at school!
  • Bye Dad!
  • Ha! Looks like you dropped something!
  • My books!
  • I really wish Jerry would stop being such a nuisance!
  • Thanks for helping me! My name's Ethan, by the way.
  • No problem, and I'm Harold. I'll make sure that Jerry doesn't bother you again.
  • Heh, that's a nice sandwich. It'd be a shame if something were to happen to it...
  • This is Harold, a 7th grader at Wendington Middle School. It's his first day of seventh grade, and he's very excited!
  • Oh no, Jerry's coming over here!
  • Don't worry, I'll deal with him.
  • As he was preparing for his first class, he noticed that a boy had had his books knocked from his hands by Jerry, and 8th grader who had bullied him in the past.
  • Heh, whatever. You're not worth it anyways.
  • Stay away from my BLT!
  • Go bother someone else Jerry, he's done nothing to you.
  • Harold stopped and helped Ethan pick up his books, which he was quite grateful for. They then went about their days, and eventually met up in Algebra I where they agreed to meet at lunch.
  • No problem. If he ever bothers you again, you let me know.
  • Thanks for all your help today!
  • As the two were eating lunch, Ethan noticed Jerry approaching, looking quite mischievous. Knowing Jerry's usual routine, Harold decided that he wouldn't allow Ethan to be terrorized as he had been.
  • Harold, deciding to stand up to Jerry for the first time, was somewhat shocked that his plan worked. Still, he had managed to drive away Jerry, and a wave of accomplishment and confidence washed over him.
  • Harold and Ethan rode the bus back home together, and would go on to become close friends for many years. Jerry would never bother Ethan or anyone else again, finding a release for his emotions in abstract art.
