- Name Navya SharmaClass 9GRoll no. 27Two friends Arav and Rahul meet after a long time,after talking for a while, they deicide to sit on a bench in a nearby park. On the way there they were talking about economy in general and how the poverty was increasing.
- SO as we were talking , I would like to tell that Gujarat is one of the wealthiest states of India with only 14.07 people poor out of 1 million.
- Oh my God, it's great cause in Chhattisgarh The 1/3 population is poor.
- In Gujarat about 17.63% of people are below poverty line.
- In Chhattisgarh 39.93% of people are below poverty line.
- Some of the Government schemes to improve teh poverty are: National Food for Work Programme. Swaranjayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY) Sampoorna Grameen Rozgar Yojana (SGRY) Rural Housing – Indira Awaas Yojana (IAY)

- I think both the states have mostly the same government schemes but they are applied better in Gujarat is what i feel.

- Yes but I feel that still the government should make people aware about this by actively market this on Social media, and traditional media at large.
