Storyboard Text

  • Oh mighty gods, please give us a sign as to where we should build our city!
  • Once, two royal twin babies the descandants of a trojan hero, Aenas, were born. One day their Uncle kidnapped them and left them to dire in the Tiber river, because he wanted to be the King and he didn´t want them to rule the Kingdom. The two baby boys were close to drowning, but luckily a wolf, she-wolf fouund them and took them under her protection, as if they were her own. 
  • I saw the six birds first, so we should build the city on my hill!
  • But I saw twelve birds, twice as many as yours, so we should build the city on my hill!
  • On one day, sheppard saw the two toddlers playing under a fig tree alone, and decided to adopt them. Their names were Romulus and Remus. When the two grew up, they got into some serious trouble and were sent to the judge. The judge realized that the were the lost royal twin sons, and when the judge told the two about their past, they left to find their family. The fought agaist their Uncle who tried to kill them with his army, and made their Grandfather, the rightful king. They both wanted their own kingdom so they set out.
  • On their journey, they looked for the fig tree where they played as children, and atlas they found the tree, in the land of seven hills. Romulus wanted to build the city, but Remus wanted to build it on a different hill. Since the two couldn't agree on what hill to build the city on, they prayed to the gods to give them a sign to where they should build the city.
  • Remus looked up at the sky, and he saw six white birds flying above his head, but Romulus looked up and saw twelve birds. Remus said that since he saw the birds first, they should build the city on his hill. Romulus yelled that because he saw 12 birds, twice as many as Remus, that the city should be built on his hill.
  • Romulus went to his mountain, and started building the city. He started by building the walls as protection for his city. Though while Romulus was finishing the walls, Remus jumped over the wall and said, ¨Look, it´s so easy jumping over the wall, ths will not keep the enimies out!¨ Romulus, ferious at his brother, attacked and fought his brother, and killed him.
  • He called his city Rome, after himself, and announced it. Anybody who disrespected the city or him would be killed...or so they say.
