  • Mahatma Gandhi
  • Gandhi born in October 2th of 1869 in Porbandar, India.
  • Gandhi went to London to learn laws in 1888.
  • He name is Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi
  • It's a boy, Putlibai Gandhi!
  • Gandhi come back to India but later went to South Africa, where suffer racism, so he in protest doesn't down of a white people wagon, so a england soldiery hit him. In 1915 he come back to India and win the name of Mahatma. He makes civil disobedence.

  • The Khalifat Movement was created by indian muslims against the Ottoman Empire, it was in part of opposition of British Empire. He also supported the non-cooperation movement between 1920 to 1922.
  • In 1930 Gandhi was put in prision because civil disobedence, but later was free in 1931.
  • Let's go Khalifat Movement and non-cooperation movement!
  • Later he goes Second Round Table conference, but there weren't agreement.
  • In 1929, the British Empire says no to a independence pentition of the Congress Party, Gandhi begans to march making civil disobedence in March 12th to April 6th of 1930, called the Salt March.
  • The Quit India Movement begans in 1942 but...
  • In August 15th of 1947 India was free.
  • He was put in prision again but was free in 1944.
  • But, sadly, in Janury 8th of 1948, Nathuram Godse killed him because he thought that Pakistan and India was separed by the fault of Gandhi.
  • In Calcutta he begans a fasting to protest all of the violance in the city
  • He learn us that violance it isn't necessary. He inspired many others revolutionaries. He's a sign of peace.
  • Janury 9th of 1948
  • This would be the national morning day in India.

  • In his funeral, 1 million people followed the ceremony
  • The Gandhi's day or the peace day is celebrated the 2 of October.
