- Paris kidnaped Helen since Aphrodite promised him that he would get the fairest woman if he choose her. Helen was already married to Menelaus and when he found out Helen was missing he called all of Greece to help him find her.
- Paris and Menelaus fought it out since everyone agreed it was a problem that needed to be solved between the two. Menelaus was winning and Aphrodite came to save Paris and after that nobody knew where Paris had gone to.

- All the goddesses were involved in the war at this point and Athena was not happy with the war ending. This caused the war to start up again because she was angry with Paris since he picked Aphrodite over her."Aphrodite, of course, was on the side of Paris. Equally, of course, Here and Athena were against him"(Hamilton 2).
- The Trojans are now winning. Achilles' mom had told him that he was going to die if he fought. Patroclus who was Achilles' best friend decided he was going to dress up as him and fight for him. Hector ended up killing Patroclus and Achilles was not happy."When Achilles heard that his friend had died pretending to be him, he was furious, and determined to make Hector pay"(Hamilton 3).
- Paris shot an arrow that was guided by Apollo that struck into Achilles' foot. When his mother when to dip him into the River Styx she didn't realize his foot had been covered by the water and that caused him to die. His death let Troy down since he was one of the best fighters.
- Odysseus had a plan to sneak in a big hollow wooden horse that was filled with men into Troy. His plan was created so that they had a better chance of winning the war. "It was a good tale and the Trojans would never questioned it"(Hamilton 5).
