- Mercutio, Romeo and Benvolio are on the street. Mercutio mentions Tybalt wanting to fight Romeo, and Mercuito hates Tybalt and wants to fight him. The Nurse walks in looking for Romeo and Mercutio begins to make sexual and mean jokes towards her, greatly upsetting her.
- Act 2 Scene 5 (p2)
- You are to be married at Friar Laurence's today!
- Mercutio and Benvolio leave and Romeo apoligises for Mercutios behaviour. The Nurse wants to ensure that Romeo has the best intentions on marrying Juliet. Romeo says he truly loves her and asks the Nurse to tell Juliet to come to come to Friar Laurence's and marry him, and the Nurse agrees to tell her.
- Act 2 Scene 6
- I don't care about the future right now, I am in love!
- Love can result in violence in the end Romeo
- Juliet has been impatiently waiting for quite a long time now for the Nurse and she finally arrives. Juliet demands the Nurse to tell her what Romeo had said, but the Nurse says she is out of breath from running back to Juliet and cannot speak at the moment.
- Act 2 Scene 6 (p2)
- The Nurse finally catches her breath and tells Juliet what her lover said. She tells Juliet she is supposed to meet him at Friar Laurence's cell, where she and Romeo will be married.
- Romeo and Friar Laurence await Juliet's arrival in order for the wedding to start. The Friar tells Romeo he should still be cautious as his love might cause him a violent end. However Romeo is so overcome with joy and love so he does not worry about the future.
- Juliet arrives at the cell and the Friar prepares to begin the marriage ceremony. Juliet and Romeo confess their great love for each other. The Friar is ready and they begin the ceremony, and the couple is then married.
- I love you with all of my heart!!!
- Words cannot describe how much I love you!
