  • I am 67 years old and my doctor has introduced a patient portal connected to my health record but I'm not sure how to use it.
  • Two old friends ran into eachother and began having conversation about the changes in how to access and use their health information. Familiarity of using digital tools is very common amongst the elderly population. Only 18% of the elderly community feels comfortable using new technologies.

  • All staff at XYZ medical will always be available for questions and concerns and to help the elderly population access and navigate the patient portal. They will also explain the why behind it and how it will better their care and make it more efficient than past traditional processes and allow them to be more involved in their own care. They will also address any concerns regarding security and provide consistent education and support. It is imperative that they feel supported and comfortable to they will be on board with the idea and use of it.
