- i'm just happy that books are more available and now information and ideas will travel faster and further

- 1517martin luther was a german monk who went against the catholic church by nailing 95 complaints titled the 95 theses against the church. his biggest problem was that they sold indulgences however martin believed the only way to receive salvation was to ask god. The printing press helped martin do this because it helped martin spread his ideas and make the 95 these fastly and easily
- 1515
- in 1515 a man named Copernicus came up with a theory that the sun was at the center of the solar system. this theory went strongly against the Catholic church who believed that the earth was at the center of the solar system because on it were gods people. Years later a man named Galileo made it his life's mission to see if copernicus theory was true. After improving the telescope he discovered that the sun and moon did not have smooth surfaces and that the sun was at the center of the solar system
