- Lily and Jamal were the best of friends.They were always seen hanging out in school and outside.Jamal was an athletic person with good skateboarding skills while Lily was a kind person with a cheery personality.

- Pass the ball! I'm open!
- What are you talking about? I was at home doing my homework.
- That day, Lily texted Jamal, to go out with her to the cinema the following day after school. Lily felt anxious and excited since she liked Jamal as more than a friend. She hoped that Jamal would go out with her.However, he did not reply her text.

- Lily felt disappointed that Jamal was busy with homework that day but she also felt that Jamal was untruthful.She decided to follow him around to see what he was actually up to

- Lily could not believe that Jamal lied to her about doing homework when he was actually playing basketball. She felt devastated that the person whom she trusted had lied to her. Lily immediately left and went back home.
- The next day, Lily confronted Jamal about what she saw yesterday and asked why Jamal had lied to her while crying. Even then, Jamal was lying to her and insisting that he was doing his homework yesterday and thought that Lily had mistaken another person that looked like him at the basketball court.
- Jamal, why did you lie to me and said that you were doing your homework when in fact you were playing basketball with your friends
- Nowadays, Lily sits alone in the library by herself doing her work but she still cannot forget about how Jamal betrayed her.She thought to herself if she could ever find another friend.
