Mars. Since the beginning of space exploration humans have wanted to always go further. And Mars was the target. But now, as we draw closer to being able to go to Mars with modern technology and funding, we might just go. I know that we should reconsider going to Mars.
So, if you don't have your children’s schools being shut down and many families becoming homeless because of tax increase, then vote against going to mars.
In the past 40 years we have lost 19 people due to space related incidents. 2.8% of people that went to space, including into Earth’s orbit, died. The climate on Mars is over twice as harsh as where the fatal incidents have occurred.

SHUT DOWN
Mars will also almost definitely require multiple tries, and to send one crew to Mars can cost over $500 billion dollars. And if we have to make multiple attempts, this could end up costing the USA trillions of dollars (and we are already in lots of debt). Putting us deeper in debt could only make things worse. The government would almost certainly shut down thousands of schools, cut back on free services for citizens and increase taxes.
