- Social:-plays with other children-imitates others, like adults and otehr children-defend territory, like certain toys and people-enjoys parallel playing and chasing
- 2 years old
- Emotional:-feras loud sounds, certain animals, etc.-excited when with other children-shows more independance-has tantrums when frusturated
- Intellectual: -sorts shapes and colors-names items in book like dog, cat, baby-follows a two-step command-plays make-believe games
- Social:-takes turns in games-seperates easily from mom and dad-temper tantrums less frequent-enjoys helping with simple household tasks
- 3 years old
- Intellectual:-screws and unscrews jar lids or turns door handlle-plays make belive with dolls, animal, people-can work toys with buttons, levers, and moving parts-can remember simple rymes and lyrics
- Emotional:-shows concern for crying friend-shows a ride range of emotion-may get upset with major chnages in routine-openly shows affection
- The reason why I chose this activity to show my students is because I feel like this is a good representation on three and two year olds. This presentation shows the emotional, social, and intellectual development of 2 and 3 year olds.
