- Johann Gutenberg Johann Gutenberg was an inventor that invented the Gutenberg Printing press. His invention was greatly appreciated because it helped books to be made cheaper and faster. It also helped ideas travel a lot faster.
- Martin LutherMartin Luther was a german monk who believed that to get forgiveness you had to ask God and study the bible instead of paying indulgences. Martin Luther decided to create the 95 Theses which was a list of complaints about the Catholic Church's ways Because of this Protestantism was made. He was able to use the Gutenberg printing press to spread his idea a lot faster.
- Galileo and CopernicusGalileo and Copernicus were two famous astronomers that proved the Church wrong in some of their beliefs. Copernicus proved that the sun was in the center of the universe not the earth. Galileo proved Copernicus right and he proved that the sun and moon were not smooth.He also Improved the telescope.The church did not like being proved wrong so they treated both of them like outcasts.
