- Are you ready to hear about all of the heroic things I did?
- No
- One of Odysseus's major flaws is his arrogance and selfishness.
- Yep
- You mean like that time he wouldn't stop yelling at that Cyclops, and he almost got everyone killed?
- Whatever. I'm going to tell you anyways!
- What makes him think he's such a hero anyways?
- That's right! Now shut up. I'm telling everyone how wonderful I am
- He thinks a hero is someone who does something involving courage or intelligence, and not for personal gain. He also thinks they don't have to be a hero right away, and can slowly become one over time
- Like the way I got us out of that cave with the Cyclops! That counts as heroic, because I'm so smart! First, I tricked that old beast into drinking some wine. Then, me and my men rode out of his cave under his own sheep!
- And those Lotus Eater fellas! They were addicted to lotus like drugs! I saw them, and I instantly dragged my men away. Had I not done that, they would still be there!
- Yep. Now I'm tired after all that talking. Don't bother me anymore!
- And best of all: when I charged into my home to save my wife and son! 100 suitors had taken over my home. I valiantly dispatched of them, with nothing but a bow! This required great strategy and intelligence.
- He's a hero and he knows it.
