Storyboard Text

  • POV: A conversation between Carmen and Don Julian about the upcoming wedding.
  • POV: Alfredo gets much closer as he bond more often to Julia because she feels enthusiastic and at ease around Julia that he couldn't feel that to Esperanza.
  • When will Esperanza and Alfredo get married, Papa?
  • I do not even know yet. Alfredo isn't being too specific, but from what I understand, Esperanza wants it fixed by next month.
  • POV: Alfredo's already unsure of his feelings for Esperanza to the extent that he even wonders whether he should proceed with their upcoming wedding.
  • Do I still love Esperanza? Am I being fooled by life? Or Maybe I just didn't understand what love really meant. *Confused
  • POV: Alfredo visits Judge del Valle's residence and that's where he meets Julia Salas.
  • That is fine. I could remember a similar feeling from the past every time I was about to correct you earlier.
  • You two seem to have known each other before, but she is not Ms. del Valle. She is my sister-in-law, Julia Salas.
  • Good Day, Judge, and to you Ms. del Valle.
  • Oh Sorry, I made a mistake.
  • Good Day Judge!
  • POV: Because of Alfredo's distant behavior, Esperanza started to have doubts, and eventually, she found out that he was having an affair in secret.
  • If that's the reason, I understand why.
  • I just want to know why you haven't been waiting for me after the mass for the past couple of days.
  • Frankly, Alfredo, could I ask you a question?
  • I occasionally went straight home after work to finish my work.
  • What is it, Esperanza?
  • And, other times I accompanied Papa to the judge del Valle's house to play chess.
  • POV: Alfredo tries to tell Julia his feelings as Don Julian invites Judge del Valle to a coconut plantation. But he later discovered that Julia was set to leave for her hometown and that this might be their final opportunity to interact. Both of them said goodbye.
  • Although it appears to be our hometown, this scenery is significantly more beautiful than ours. The time that passes is fast, don't you think?
  • No need, it's fine, Goodbye.
  • It's because I'm already going home.
  • I think this might be the final time we see each other.
  • Nods*
  • I hope you're enjoying the scenery.
  • It is, why?
  • Can you please allow me to say goodbye before you leave?
  • Bye.
