- Ghost Appearance
- Hey kiddo, so claudius murdered me and now you have to kill for me out of revenge. Okay?
- Hamlet's Major Decison
- What do I do about this whole murder situation??
- The Confession
- Mom, Claudius, I think i just spoke to my dead father
- Hamlet sees the ghost which resembles his father, who is the dead king. The ghost tells Hamlet that Claudius, the current king, killed him for his crown and wife. The ghost tells Hamlet that he must kill Claudius in revenge for killing him.
- Angry Claudius
- Nonsense child, you did not see your dead father and he told you wrong about his death
- Hamlet is very confused and must tell someone he saw his father, or what resembled his dead father. He is thinking about what to do and what will be best for the kingdom and for the ghost/ father.
- Crazy Hamlet
- Something is rotten in the state of Denmark
- Hamlet explains to Claudius and his mother that he saw what seemed to be the resemblance of his dead father.
- Dramatic Irony
- Claudius yells at Hamlet because Claudius is guilty and we the audience know he is.
- Hamlet starts acting crazy and starts talking nonsense since the king and queen don't believe him about seeing the ghost and what he told Hamlet.
- The audience knows Hamlet is acting crazy but the other characters in the story do not and they by his act.
