- Kennedy and Jude have an altercation and hasty words are said. Kennedy may be drunk but says Jude is lucky Reese chose someone as dark as her.
- Stella and Kennedy meet to have lunch. This chat consists of school,talk of Kennedy's future, and trust. This conversation is very important for the development of Stella and Kennedy's relationship. " " Emotional blackmail," she said. " That's a new one for you." " Blackmail!" Stella leaned into the table, then dropped her voice. " Wanting what's best for you is blackmail? Wanting you to get an education, to better yourself----" " Stella and Kennedy not being on the same page and being polar opposites causes for lots of bad blood between the two.
