- the giver is the ultimate teacher he is patient wise and can deal with strong feelings and he is nurturing.He is overburdened by the pain that is stored inside the world's memories, and he experiences that pain.The Giver is lonely and unable to discuss his work with anyone in the neighborhood since they would not understand. He longs to end the samness that has defined them all
- The words that clearly define Jonas are passionate intelligent and determined for change therefore these chracteristics make him perfect for the role of the reciever of memory. Over time, he grows enthusiastic about the memories and the feelings they arouse and gets more and more enraged with his society. He ultimately uses his qualities of tenacity, intellect, and desire to join Gabriel in Elsewhere.
- Fiona is a very pretty girl who is sensitive, intelligent, quiet, and polite. At the ceremony she was assigned the role of a nurturer she was unaware of the world that was hidden from her but JOnas tried explaining it to her she was able to trust him and help in the mission to uncover teh memories and relase them to the community in order to save them.
- Jonas's Mother is a competent, friendly woman who holds a significant position at the Justice Department. The goal of Jonas' mother's work is to aid those who disobey the law in recognizing their wrong. She frequently offers Jonas advise regarding the concerns and apprehensions he experiences as he matures. She is a lady of the law as we see throughout the movie as she continuously says Precision of language to Jonas.
- He has a great bond with the infants he looks after as a Nurturer and genuinely cares about their well-being. Although he concurs with Jonas's mother that love is a meaningless word the affection he shows for the new children and his family appears to be very much like love he worries and cares for them he also makes great sacrafice for them. He was willing to take Gabriel home to help him become more mature and save him form being released.
