  • Naive
  • Well Linda said this fridge is top notch because the media said so... therefore this must be the greatest fridge of all time!
  • Willy often seems to contradict his own statements. For instance, he describes his Chevy as the greatest car ever built, and moments later contradicts his own words by saying that the manufacturing of Chevy should be prohibited.
  • Lack of judgment
  • Beautiful scenery...
  • Willy refers to his older brother often and idolizes him because he owns diamond mines in Africa. One of his greatest regrets is not going to Alaska with Ben, and blames his failures on this decision. However, Ben's success is almost completly due to luck which Willy fails to realize. Willy is very much jealous of his brothers wealth and success.
  • Proud
  • Are you sure you don't wanna take this job? Maybe it could help you
  • Willy is highly influenced by the media and seems to believe everything he hears. Willy believes that his fridge should be top notch because Linda says it got the biggest ads of all of them.
  • Laziness
  • I don't need to work hard as long as people like me I am sure to be rich!
  • Willy’s lack of judgment is first shown when he decides to view the lush country scenery while driving, rather than keeping his eyes on the road. This decison may lead you to wonder why was Willy so facinated with the scenery? The answer originates with Willy’s first decision in life, that being his career and choice of home. Willy’s true calling would have been to work outdoors, in the “lush country scenery” that he so greatly admires in the first scene. Rather, Willy chooses a life in an urban city walled off by brick. This was one example of his poor judgement.
  • Willie is to proud to take a job from a neighbor, but commits suicide to ensure his family has the financial stability that he couldn’t provide.
  • Willie refuses to believe that success is built from hardwork and dedication- be believe its how much people like him. This makes him lazy.
