The snow crunched beneath their feet as Ulrich and Georg stumbled forward, their breath coming in ragged gasps. The wolves were close too close. Every step felt heavier, their limbs growing weaker with exhaustion and injury. The forest around them seemed endless, shadows stretching menacingly as if the trees themselves were closing in
Ulrich (panting): "We can't outrun them forever!"
Georg (gasping): "Then we find higher ground quickly!"
Slide: 2
Through the dark blur of the forest, Ulrich's eyes locked onto an ancient oak, its twisted branches reaching upward like hands to help them up. A faint memory surfaced. It might be their only hope
Georg: "Can you even climb with that leg?"
Ulrich: "That tree we can climb it!"
Slide: 3
Georg : "They're waiting we are dead meat
Ulrich: "And we're trapped."
Ulrich scrambled up first, pulling himself onto the thickest branch he could find. Georg followed, his hands trembling against the rough bark. Below them, the wolves emerged dark shapes against the white snow. Their eyes gleamed with hunger, their low growls vibrating through the frozen air.
