Fun Fact:The Nile River is the longest river in the world!
This is because of the river's annual flooding to grow crops and transporting resources.
Ancient Egypt was dependent on the Nile River for its survival.
Ancient Egypt was made up of Lower Egypt and Upper Egypt.The reason for this is that the Nile starts in the south and deposits into the Mediterranean Sea in the north.
The Egyptian Civilization is divided into three periods. These periods are Old Kingdom, Middle Kingdom, and New Kingdom.

We exported resources such as gold, linen, and papyrus to other civilizations
Ancient Egypt had many trade routes with civilizations such as Mesopotamia and China.
The language is made up of symbols and pictures to communicate
The Egyptians developed a written language called Hieroglyphics.
Fun Fact:Hieroglyphics were on obelisks, or a four-sided pillar
The Egyptians made many structures like pyramids. Pyramids were used as tombs for pharaohs, or kings of Egypt.
The reason why King Tut is the most important pharaoh isn't because of him, but because of his tomb. The tomb revealed many interesting things about the ancient Egyptians.
King Tut: You may think I hate being dead, but we Egyptians believe in the afterlife. The afterlife is a place where everyone lives in peace.
The Egyptians Civilization died because of many invasions during the New Kingdom.
But since the ancient Egyptians left behind many pieces of art, literature, and history, their legacy will live on.
