  • Hey Renz! Did you know that James Clerk Maxwell was best known for his contribution in developing equations that showed the relationship of electricity and magnetism.
  • Oh wow, well I didn't know that, but I do know that Michael Farady formulated the principle behind electromagnetic induction. He experimented it by wrapping two inculcated coils of wire around an iron ring,
  • Hey Renz! did you know that James Clerk Maxwell was best knwon
  • YES, and not only that, André-Marie Ampère demonstrated the magnetic effect based ondirection of current, a magnetic field is generated when two parallel wires are charged with electricity.
  • Right! did you also know that one of Heinrich Hertz’ inventions showed that light and heat are electromagnetic radiations. He proved that the speed and length of electromagnetic waves can be identified and measured.
  • Yes I wouldn't forget about that. And last but not the least is Hans Christian Oersted he discovered that electric currents create magnetic field, and explained the connection between electricity and magnetism.
  • Very well said Maki. Thank you for sharing these five scientists with me, now I know all of their contributions.
