- Have you ever wondered who wrote some of the most famous plays in history?
- I impacted the Renaissance by creating entertainment in England aswell as shaping art and culture for many reasons.
- Shakespeare is one of the most influential playwrights in history.
- Over my lifetime I wrote 37 plays including Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet. I was also a great contributer ot the English language. Many of my plays were performed for royalty including Queen Elizabeth. I also owned a theater known as the Globe Theater.
- I was born in 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon and attended Stratford's grammer school until I was 15. From roughly 1594 onward I was an important member of an acting company, The Lords Chamberlians Men.
- My plays were the best form of entertainment in England. I helped shape art and culture and influenced many young writers during the Renaissance.
- In my opinion, Shakespeare continues to make a lasting impact on the world today. For these and many other reasons, Shakespeare continues to make a lasting impact on the world today by creating entertainment in England aswell as shaping art and culture for many reasons.
