- The two men who went by the names of James W. Marshall and his partner had discovered gold! Deciding to dig up the rest with better tools Marshall went to a shop to pay for the tools, he chose to pay with the gold he found, sooner or later the word was spread out through news papers that there is gold in California, people all over the globe came to find the discoveries.
- GOLD! THEY FOUND GOLD!
- Many traveled as soon as they could, many traveled overseas which was a long and rough journey trying to reach California. Not all did follow this way of traveling others either went along the California trail or horseback ride with wagons carrying their whole families. When all of the gold seekers got to California they quickly got to work many went to where James Marshall found his gold, and tried their luck bringing thousands of people to California..
- Not all had found riches in California though, some who didn't just left back home to their homelands, others just decided to stay, either way the California Gold rush made an impact on the civilization around. People of different colors and cultures were brought to California bringing diversity. Shops, towns, cities were made and populated with the people soon enough thousands had made California popular.
