Storyboard Text
- Long ago, Conor's town was a kingdom full of green. "Trees covered every hill and bordered every path. They shaded every stream and protected every house, for there were houses here even then, made of stone and Earth"
- My Beloved!!
- Due to several battles to protect the kingdom, the king lost his entire family. "One by one, all four princes of the kingdom fell, leaving the king with only one heir. His infant grandson."
- The queen has murdered my bride!! She must be stopped!
- The king remarried a beautiful princess of another kingdom. He soon fell ill. People suspected the princess was a witch who poisoning him. The king passed, leaving a new queen. "At first, to the surprise of many, her reign was a good one."
- The prince fell in love with a farmer's daughter. He ran away with her and would soon return to save the kingdom from the queen. They slept under a yew tree, the prince awaking to a dreadful sight. The text states that, "Someone had murdered his beloved and done so in a way that made it look like the prince had committed the crime."
- Villagers approached the tree. "The prince ran towards the approaching villagers. "The queen has murdered my bride!" he shouted. "The queen must be stopped!" " With a giant Green Man behind him, the villagers turned to kill the queen.
- In reality, the prince had murdered his bride. "He told me that he had done it for the good of the kingdom." Indeed the queen was a witch, but not a murderer. The monster saw this injustice and saved the queen. The prince lived on as a beloved king.
