- Months passed, and Cassie and Willis looked happy together. On the other hand, Derick felt like he lost the love of his life. One day, while Derick was in the bathroom, Willis grabbed him from behind and asked him to talk. Derick punched him in the stomach. That’s when Willis admitted he wanted to be with both Cassie and Derick. He said, "I can't live without you, but I also can’t live without her." Derick felt very upset and, without saying anything, left the bathroom.

- A month after the bathroom incident, Derick heard that Willis and Cassie’s relationship was getting worse because both of them were being unfaithful with other people. Derick felt a little bit of relief when he saw that they were not happy, just like he wasn’t

- After hearing this, Derick met Willis. Willis told him that he had broken up with Cassie the night before. He also said he was very unhappy with her and asked Derick to come back. He argued that Cassie hated Derick and that she had seduced him to leave Derick alone. Derick simply replied, “If I were a woman in another life, I hope I don’t meet you.” These words shocked Willis, and when Derick saw his face, he left. While leaving, Derick thought, “I might lose the love of my life, but I will never lose my dignity.
