  • We met our hero, the Project Manager, having enlisted the help of a facilitator to run a Pre-Mortem workshop to look at the negative and positive outcomes of the project while the stakeholders are still confident of the projects success
  • Hi, we are going to work through all the barriers to the success of the project and what success looks like

  • Stakeholders bring problems to the Project Manager, since the problems were identified in the Pre-Mortem workshop, there are solutions that all the stakeholders have agreed to.

  • The project ends and everyone is happy to celebrate. Problems were solved and the outcome was successful.

  • The Project Manager wants to close the loop but decides to engage an independent facilitator to do a Post Mortem workshop as the best way to ensure a worthwhile Project Review.

  • Hi again, we are going to look at the barriers we overcame and how we acheived project success
