- One day, she fell inlove with a mortal man which led her to her downfall
- She loved this man so deeply, that it angered her family for breaking what they considered was sacred law.

- Her punishment was to be banished forever to the world of the mortal.
- This was a punishment that Dian Masalanta thoroughly enjoyed for she was happiest when she walked among her people.
