- Oh no! I'm gonna be late.
- I'm gonna get fired.
- I almost missed the bus, I would've to wait another bus in several minutes.
- One morning, Yeri woke up late. Because she was tired from all the work and chores she did all night. She also forgot to set up her alarm, and because of that she's gonna be late for her work.
- LOCUTION
- What time do you call this?
- While she was taking a shower, she thinks about what her boss is planning to do to her. If her boss will fire her or give her a penalty for comming late.
- Illocution
- Care to explain Ms.Yeri?
- She almost missed the bus stop, if she missed the stop she would've waited another bus in 20 minutes.
- Perlocution
- Sorry Ms. Yeri if I got mad easily and didn't ask politely. I was just stressed out because of our businss.
- Yeri's boss got mad because she was late.
- The boss asked Yeri to tell and explain her reason why she was late. Then Yeri did'nt hesitate to tell her boss the truth.
- I'm so sorry for being late sir, I was just so tired from all the work I'm doing. This is my first time being late, I am so sorry. I will do better.
- The boss felt pity and apolgizedto Yeri for getting mad easily without knowing Yeri's reasons. Yeri accepted her boss's apology, and they both ended their conversation.
- I's fine sir, I understand. I will do better next time sir, thank you for understanding.
