- My name is Sir Matthew the Brave of Shrewsbury and I serve the Lord Solomon of Canterbury.
- My name is Alice I have a son but no other children, my main job in life is to look after the family and our house.
- My name is Oliver and my dream is to become a fearless knight like my Father one day.
- Good! I don't think I have anything more for you to do until lunch, so go to the laundry room
- Finished!....what can I do now?
- Yes miss, my name is Oliver, the cook told me to come here.
- Oh! Are you a new page here, Little Fellow?
- Alright, you can take those baskets of clothes out to the line outside, and hang them up
- Yes miss

- Oliver my son, the time has come to begin your future as a knight.

- Today you will go to the Lord's castle, whom I serve, and you will promise to serve him as a Page.You will do all that he tells you and never disobey him, this is the first step towards becoming a knight.
- The first thing you do is kneel down at the Lord's feet...

- The Lord will ask you a question like: So, you wish to serve me? If he asks you this, you must say, "Yes Master". If he accepts you as a Page he will then give you a job to do in the castle.
- Thank-you Oliver, you can now take Rebecca's job, put that pile of clothes in the cauldron and use the stick to stir it around. Once the water is dirty, remove the clothes and put them in the baskets you have there.
- Yes miss.
- Hmmm...........I wasn't really expecting this!
