- The whites were in there living room waiting for a guest Mr.white was playing chess with his son and Mrs.white was knitting .They were all sitting down when they heard a knock at the door the woman opens and came back with a tall ,burly man ,body of eye and rubicund of visage . His name was Sergeant-Major Morris . He came in with a something mr white asked what was that in his hand Sergeant-Major Morris said it was a 'monkey paw' Mr white was curiously and asked if he could have it but Sergeant-Major Morris no and that he rather throw the monkeys paw in the fire than give it to him.
- mr.white got down and in the fire he got the monkey's paw out of the fire after he got it out he told what was so bad about it that he would throw it in the fire that give it to mr white .Sergeant-Major Morris said that you had three wishes
- As they all sat down Mr.white had the monkeys paw and he said i have evrthing waht eals could I want .His son told him to wish for 200p
