- we need to improve the funding of our military so that we can improve our combat medicine practices and the equipment the military offers.
- We need more funding for our military and my research of our future for combat casualty care. The only way we can help better our combat medicine and gain its benefits is by increased funding.
- The counterargument being made by citizens is that we already have the funding the military needs. If funding were to be increased, the military would make weapons. That is not necessarily true because we use the funding to make more prominent hospitals, improve the medical professionals' training, and gain more medical supplies
- The equipment we currently have is limited when we are trying to perform life-saving actions in the field. Also, it costs money to send that equipment and supplies overseas on deployments
- Increasing hospital capacity requires funding to be increased. My argument here is that we need to fund the military to find better ways of improving our combat medicine because what is at stake here is the lives of our united state's servicemen.
- The combat medics in our United States Army go through an intensive sixteen weeks to learn to be the world's finest medics. First, they learn the civilian emergency medical technician course that civilians learn. Then, however, they learn an eight-month course in one month. And then apply those skills into a military application of their skills. I have personally gone through this training, and it has to be even more difficult than most college students would go through.
