  • The start of the stamp act
  • THIS IS NOT FAIR!!!!
  • How did this effect the colonist
  • NO TAXAITON WITHOUT REPRESENTATION!!!!
  • Where was this money going!?

  • In 1765 the first direct tax on the colonist was born. This Tax was on legal documents, and printed good.
  • How did they stop this
  • WE REFUSE TO BY YOUR PAPER GOODS
  • The Stamp act effected the colonist many ways. One way this effected the colonist was that hey had no representation for any of this.
  • Violence
  • GET THEM!!!

  • You would think that the tax would benefit everyone, but no this only was a goos thing for the British. All the money was going to the British army.
  • YAAYYYY
  • One way that they used to put a stop to this was not buying the legal documents and paper goods. 
  • tax collector's house 
  • The colonist did not stop there. They brought violence into this and started attacking the tax collectors home.
  • Finally in 1766 the stamp act was lifted, and now everyone is happy :).
