  • More than 50 years after Dr. Martin Luther King's famous speech I Have a Dream , the status of African Americans in society has remarkably improved.

  • White only
  • After the Civil Rights Movement, the overall picture got better and better. Today, everyone is equal no matter who they are.

  • Overall, I Have a Dream is an important moment in the U.S. history as well as the history of African Americans. The dream that Martin Luther King described in this speech is the beautiful world that everyone hopes will come true.
