- ( After Tybalt was killed by Romeo and Romeo is declared banished) this conflict is man vs. self as Juliet is mad at Romeo for killing Tybalt but still loves him as he is her husband
- (After they have slept together) This conflict is man vs. society as they are Capulet and Montague sharing the same bed which in turn mocks the ancient grudge with which their families have with each other
- ( After Capulet has declared to Paris that Juliet will marry him) this conflict is man vs. man because Juliet says she does not want to marry Paris but is thankful to her father that he offered and Capulet is angry at Juliet because she has refused to marry Paris, a relative of the Prince
