  • Air Quality Monitoring?
  • Sustainable Development is an economic event that is conducted withoutdepletion of our natural resources. The 'Goals' are there to help achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.
  • SDG stands for Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Air Quality Monitoring is an essentialcomponent of SDG 3, particularly in relation to targets related to environmental health and air pollution. Poor air quality has implications for human health andwell-being, contributing to respiratorydiseases, cardiovascular issues, andrelated health problems.
  • Respiratory Diseases
  • SDG 3 is to Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. Reduce illnesses and death from hazardous chemicals and pollution. One target (3.9.1) of SDG 3 and aims by 2030 to substantially reduce the death rate attributed to household and ambient air pollution (WHO).

  • Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11) aims to ensure sustainable urbanization by promoting inclusive, safe, resilient societies and economies. Two goals we saw are there to improve our health and well-being by good air quality, and have access to green spaces. We must do this in a sustainable way for the good of all in the community.
  • How do we monitor and assess our air quality and green spaces?
  • There are many children who suffer from asthma and other diseases by just going to school so we mustmonitor our air quality to improve their health and well-being for us and our community.
