- Ayy Big Mike! It's been ages, just got back from a hospital appointment. Thought to stop for a bit and think
- Hey Garret! It's been ages, how are you? What are you doing here?
- Not really. I need a new liver, my alcoholism finally caught up with me
- Oh I hope everything is okay
- Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. I hear these procedures can be really expensive and take a lot of time to find a donor
- Thank you. I'm not too upset though because I'm getting a new one soon
- Nah a 3D printed one actually. It's pretty cool, they create a replica of a liver similar to mine by taking a sample of my liver tissue. Very similar to the real thing
- Oh wow short waiting list?
- It's not too bad to be honest, cheaper than getting a real one actually. Plus my insurance covers most of it
