- Ariel Asks For His Freedom
- Ariel had done everything Prospero had asked of him, and yet he still didn't receive his side of the deal. They go on to argue that Prospero still had saved him from a worse situation. Sadly just because he is in a better place now doesn't mean its good.
- Is there more toil? Since thou dost give me pains,Let me remember thee what thou hast promised,Which is not yet perform'd me.
- My liberty
- How now? moody?What is't thou canst demand?
- These two talk and plot. In act II while this is happening Miranda and Ferdinand meet and fall in love. Stephano and Caliban will plot to take the Kings place as the story goes on.
- Caliban signs to Stephano and they make alliances.
- O brave monster! Lead the way.
- 'Ban, 'Ban, CacalibanHas a new master: get a new man. Freedom hey-day! hey-day, freedom! freedom,hey-day, freedom!
- Ferdinand and Miranda talk and Ferdinand propose. Which is complicated for the story since Ferdinands dad thinks he's dead and theyre also cousin. This may mess up whatever plan Prospero has, but he seems ok with it.
- The Proposal
- Ay, with a heart as willingAs bondage e'er of freedom: here's my hand.
- My mistress, dearest;And I thus humble ever.
- My husband, then?
