- George and Hazel Burgeron sit on the sofa watching the tv.
- George is zoned out from an electric beep in his handicap audio.
- bark bark bark
- Look there’s Harrison in the studio!
- big hairy monster kid with sacks of lead balls all around his shoulders comes on stage flailing his arms.
- me want empress!
- Who is an emperor?”
- George doesn’t respond instead he gets up shifts his audio handicap and shifts his sack of lead balls into a better position and goes and gets a drink).
- what are you talking about?
- you said something about an emperor.
- Honey look Harrison is an emperor now!
- I did?
- Harrison bursts into the room yells “me hungry” to his parents, then grabs the whole fridge and shoved it into his mouth.  George is standing where the fridge used to be apparently unable to digest what just happened.
- ME HUNGRY
- Kurt Vonnegut was trying to explain how much technology runs people’s lives. He wants the world to understand that technology can be used against us. He also makes out that the government will be really corrupt in the future due to all the equality stuff in the story. Kurt is trying to warn people of the overuse of technology and the betrayal of the government in the future. Kurt shows how easily government, with the help of technology can control people’s lives.
