- No, I used my allowance for a pair of shoes and only have $20 left for these pants.
- Hey Jenny do you have money? I really want to buy this shirt but I don't have enough.
- They seem like nice girls. But I should watch them, they're TEENAGERS.
- What did they just say? They want to steal? I need to keep my eye on them.
- Good idea! Let me try it on first.
- You can steal it. Just put it under your shirt before we leave
- Hi, what will you girls be trying on today?
- Just go to the door right ahead of you.
- Oh, I'm just going to be trying on this shirt, these pants, and this skirt.
- I'll just be waiting for my friend outside.
- 1. Jordan wants to buy a shirt that matches her pair of pajama pants, but she doesn't have enough money. She asks Jenny but she doesn't have enough either.
- Btw, instead of putting it under ur shirt put it in ur purse.
- But i think either way, we'll be fine getting out i don't see any security.

- 2. Jenny encourages Jordan to steal the shirt. Jordan thinks its a great idea to shoplift to solve her problem. She is scared to go home and bring money because there is only one shirt left. The undercover security guard hears their conversation about stealing. Abetting: encouraging a person to commit a crime.
- You don't want any of them?
- How was it in there?
- It was good. Here are the clothes.

- Okay let's go quickly. I already paid.
- 3. Jordan tells the worker that she only has three pieces of clothing so that she could get away with stealing the shirt. She goes to try on the shirt then stuff it in her shirt in the changeroom because there are no cameras so that she can successfully steal the shirt.Mens Rea: Jordan has a guilty mind (the deliberate intention to commit a prohibited act).
- Hey ma'am i am going to need to check your bags.
- Uhh, fine the shirt is in there.

- 4. While Jordan is in the changeroom, Jenny messages her and tells her to put the shirt in her purse instead so that they can shoplift with less chances of getting caught. They both don't believe that there is a security guard. Aiding: helping a person commit a criminal offence.Knowledge: awareness of certain facts.
- Yeah, mean either.
- 5. Jordan successfully stuffs the shirt in her purse. Jenny wants to leave quickly before anyone catches them stealing. Actus rea: voluntary action, omission, or state of being that is prohibited by the CCC
- 6. Jordan and Jenny try to walk out of the store with the shirt, but the scanners catch the tag on it and they are caught. The security guard knows that they stole so he demands to check Jordan's purse but she admits that she stole it. Attempt: the intention to commit a crime but it's not completed.
- Ma'am i'm going to need you to open your purse before you make me call the police.
